We all know the Mercedes C63 AMG is an icon in the German performance car market. It offers insane amounts of performance without comprising on luxury. The Black Series C63 is a significant step up in performance over the stand C63, but there is still room for improvement. This room for improvement comes in the form of ECU tuning, where Mercedes left performance untapped.

Since the ECU controls who the engine runs, fine tuning and optimizing the tune file can allow the engine to output more power with sacrificing reliability. Of course, bolt-on modifications such as an intake and exhaust are also a great way to improve power, but without proper tuning, gains can’t be fully realized.
