We had this awesome Mini Cooper S R53 in today to improve its performance for the track. The 2005 R53 featured the 1.6L supercharged engine which put out about 160 horsepower stock. Modding the the Cooper S R53 became a hit because of how well this FWD car handled. 11 years later, the modding is still going strong for these. This particular Mini featured an Alta Supercharger Pulley, Alta Intake, Catback Exhaust, Rotiform Wheels, H&R Coilovers, and more. The VR Tuned ECU Flash is designed to improve the driveability of the car. Better throttle response, improved torque, and more horsepower to help power you lap after lap. The ECU flash adds nearly 40 horsepower and 35 ft/lbs of torque over stock. The Mini Cooper S now with over 200 horsepower out performs the R56 turbo and even the R53 JCW.
